10/2 Finish studying for the vocabulary quiz. Make sure you know the definitions for all 20 words and that you can use each in a sentence that shows the meaning of the word.

Monday
9/22 Work on your metaphor drawing (due Wednesday) and on preparing for the debate (Wednesday also). Make sure you have an effective metaphor written out clearly.
Tuesday
9/23 Finish preparing for the debate (make sure one person in your group has a short introduction written out and that you have your key points listed on a GoogleDoc). Work on your metaphor drawing, due by 3:30 on Wednesday. Look at the example for ideas.
Wednesday
9/24 Study for Vocabulary Quiz #1—make sure you know the definitions for all 10 words and that you can use each on in a sentence that shows the meaning of the word. The quiz will be on Friday. Read in your IR book.
