1. Analyze Shakespeare’s use of irony in Twelfth Night. Be sure to discuss humor and dramatic irony but also how irony represents the central problem of the play: the discrepancy between appearance and reality and the fact that the Duke is fooled by appearances despite many powerful clues to the reality.
