1. Analyze how Austen manipulates the concept that the beautiful is the good through this novel. Be sure to discuss Wickham, Jane, and Mrs. Bennet.

2. Carefully analyze the scene at Pemberly on pages 179 - 181. Analyze Miss Bingley's character especially, but also reflect on Mr. Darcy, Elizabeth, and Miss Darcy. Be sure to look at diction, irony, and anything else of interest. Be sure to pull out several direct quotations and reflect on them in detail.
