Monday
12/8 Finish studying for the Pride and Prejudice exam. You may earn up to 10 points extra credit on the exam by thoroughly completing the study questions. The exam will be tomorrow. Work on the first draft of your Pride and Prejudice essay.

Tuesday
12/9 Finish writing the first draft of your Pride and Prejudice essay. Due Wednesday.

Wednesday
12/10 Based on peer editing comments, the grading criteria, and your own ideas, revise and write a second draft of your Pride and Prejudice essay. Due Thursday for juniors and Monday for seniors.

Thursday
12/11 Complete the syntax exercise.

Friday
12/12 Complete book notes on A Tale of Two Cities and Oedipus Rex. See the link for details. Due Monday.

Monday
12/1 Read to page 245 in Pride & Prejudice. Read carefully so that you’re prepared for a reading quiz and/or class discussion tomorrow.

Tuesday
12/2 Read to page 262 in Pride & Prejudice. Read carefully so that you’re prepared for a reading quiz and/or class discussion tomorrow.

Wednesday
12/3 Work on the study questions and look over the essay topics. Exam = Monday, Prewriting = Friday, First Drafts = Wednesday.

Thursday
12/4 Work on the study questions and start on the prewriting for your Pride & Prejudice essay. Prewriting is due at the end of the period tomorrow.

12/5 Finish your study questions and work on the first draft of your essay. Exam on Monday, first drafts due Wednesday.
