Homework Assignments: Week 33
AP English

Monday 5/2 Work on your take-home exam. Due Thursday morning before you take the AP English Literature & Composition exam. This exam will take you about 2 hours so make sure you've already studied all the literary terms, completed all the book notes, and work on the exam some each night. This exam will help you study for the AP Exam on Thursday. The exam will be worth 150 points.

Tuesday 5/3 Work on your take-home exam. It will take a few hours so make sure you work on it each night. Time yourself on the timed writing portion.

Wednesday 5/4 Finish your take-home exam. Read through all of your book notes so that you are prepared to write on any of the plays or novels we’ve read this year (and a few from last year). Do any last minute review of literary terms.

Thursday 5/5 Study for your history/government and math finals.

Friday 5/6 Read in your second IR book if you need more pages. All IR tests must be taken by next Friday, May 13.

Monday
5/11 Seniors: complete the synthesis timed writing.
Juniors: work on your ePortfolios, due Friday.

Tuesday
5/12 Seniors: finish preparing for the AP English Language exam (study literary terms, go the multiple choice practice, look through the passage and agree/disagree packets)
Juniors: Work on your ePortfolios, due Friday.

Wednesday
5/13 Work on your ePortfolio, due Friday.

Thursday
5/14 Finish your ePortfolio, due tomorrow.

Friday
5/15 Read in your IR book. All IR tests must be taken by June 3. Take a test earlier if you can, please.

Week 31

Monday
5/4 Complete the last official, graded timed writing of the year—open question on Twelfth Night.

Tuesday
5/5 No homework! Happy Cinco de Mayo.

Wednesday
5/6 Finish reading through all of your book notes and reviewing literary terms.

Thursday
5/7 No homework—prepare for other AP exams (like AP English Language & Econ for seniors and AP US History for juniors).

Friday
5/8 Read in your IR book and seniors should review literary terms and sample timed writings to prepare for the Language exam next Wednesday.
