  1. Using sheets of graph paper, map the streets of Bridgeport.
    • Map the entire town, using symbols to mark important landmarks and features.
    • Include a legend and scale to make your map useful to others.
    • Using a transparency, create a thematic map of the area.
  2. Essay: What are the possible uses of GPS at our school? Out in the "real world"?
  3. Sketchup! - Make a 3D rendering of at least 3 buildings using Sketchup's Photo Match feature.
 
  • Mapping Bridgeport: GPS
    • We will make a map of the main part of Bridgeport using our GPS equipment and GIS software.
    • Create a Data Dictionary for streets, businesses, and one other attribute.
    • Record data with GPS.
